Garbage & Recycling

Both garbage and recycling are contracted with Logan City. In Richmond, garbage is picked up every Friday beginning at 7:00 am; recycling bins are collected every other Friday. Click here for a calendar of the 2021 recycling collection schedule. Richmond is on Schedule B.

This link will take you to the Logan Environmental Department website for more information on landfill hours, what items should not be placed in the blue recycling bins, and general information on the philosophy of "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle."

Do you have a vehicle you'd like to donate? Wheels for Wishes is a non-profit organization that will pick up donated vehicles, at no cost to their owners, and recycle or auction them to benefit Make-A-Wish Utah. Contact them at (855) 417-9474 for more information.
